We are an independent service, assisting people in Leicester City and in Leicestershire. We offer free, confidential legal advice to people who are experiencing problems with debt, employment, housing and welfare benefit matters. We can give advice, negotiate and advocate on your behalf and even represent you at court. We are a not for profit agency and do not charge for our services. We employ a range of Specialist Advisers and Solicitors to conduct our work.
The Community Advice and Law Service (formerly Leicester Money Advice) has been offering advice and support to the residents of Leicester for over 30 years. We offer self help materials and fact sheets, appointments at our offices (or home visits if required) and representation at court. We are based at Epic house on Charles Street Leicester and also have an office at Leicester County Court and run a number of advice sessions across Leicester.
